MRW Portable Vacuum Control Box
Our own design of portable vacuum braking control box for use on a driving truck or guard's position.
The MRW vacuum box features a three-way manual valve to control the brakes on a set of coaches or other vacuum braked stock such as our vacuum actuated driving truck, this allows fine control to enable smooth application of the brakes when stopping.
A high quality brass vacuum gauge is fitted showing the level in the train line as well as a voltage meter to monitor battery levels. (Battery NOT Supplied)
A 1/8"bsp 21 series Male Nipple is also fitted to allow connection to our vacuum coupling hoses. (Available separately)
Power supply
To power the pump, all standard 12V leisure and automotive batteries are suitable and it is tolerant of up to 12.7V continuous supply. Please be aware that the product will not perform effectively with an undercharged or flat battery. For safety the electrical system is fused, using an easily sourced automotive blade fuse.
