Edmondson 7 ¼” Commercial Sit-Astride Passenger Coach & Bogie
Colin Edmondson designed, MRW manufactured. These high quality articulated sit astride coaches are tried and tested by both permanent and portable railways across the country. Their monocoque sheet metal chassis makes them lightweight for their size and therefore well optimised for carrying as many passengers as possible. The benefit of this is that the locomotive does not have to work as hard pulling heavy coaches, maximising passenger carrying ability. Available in 5ft, 6ft, 7ft, 8ft and 9ft lengths, these coaches are capable of comfortably taking up to 7 adults or even more children in the full length model!
