Rolling roads are ideal for testing locomotives. Built from 6mm steel plate and using sealed roller bearings, these rolling roads are sturdy and durable and an excellent tool for anyone looking to rebuild and restore miniature locomotives. We can offer a ‘fit’ service to ensure your loco will sit correctly on the rollers - all we need is your wheel diameters, axle centres and number of axles and we can generate a test CAD model. Adjustable models are available to take guess work out of the equation. These feature slots that allow the bearings to be positioned in a way that best suits your locomotive. Generally, these are only necessary for some 3 1/2" gauge locomotives. They come at a premium over the standard type - expect at least 2 extra weeks before dispatch as they are made to order.

Manufactured by CMD engineering with over 1000 units sold world wide, these Rolling Roads have become known for their high quality and durability.
