Length of solid plastic wood suitable to be cut into miniature railway sleepers. Each length gives approximately 4 sleepers for 7 ¼ track.
Plastic wood is a long lasting solution for sleepers, it drills and cuts like wood and has a similar weight. It is an ideal choice for portable railways as well as permanent ones. This is a realistic and sustainable alternative to traditional hardwood sleepers. It doesn't need preserving prior to installation and is 100% recycled and fully recyclable.

Items can be used with 10 ¼ ,7 ¼ , 5, 3 ½ - Consideration should be given to the expected load on the item, thicker types of plastic wood are available on quotation.
The responsibility for safe installation and operation is down to the user/installer/owner. It is the operators responsibility to ensure the day-to-day safety of the railway. Standard items are available to buy through the MRW online shop. Enter the number of items you require and press add to Basket this will be added to the ‘Basket’ then if required select further items and these too will be added to the ‘Cart’. The final total will include our standard delivery costs, details can be found below under the ‘Postage & Delivery’ tab on our website.
Subject to availability there is approximately a one week lead time on track products. If placing and order for more than 30 sections or if you require a non-standard item or component then please contact us directly with your requirements and a price can be quoted.
When placing large orders you may be asked for a deposit this non-refundable.
