Well proven for light to medium use and highly regarded by its extensive existing customer base, MRW are delighted to offer PNP's permanent rail products alongside the Jubilee portable track range for trackwork products. PNP's 16mm aluminium rail is an excellent product for permanent railways laid for long term running. PLEASE NOTE:- rail is supplied as section only. Fishplate holes are to be drilled by the customer.

Suitable for 3½”, 5″ & 7¼” standard scale club or garden railways, PNP 16mm rail is supplied in 2.5m lengths, therefore when ordering please order the total number of 2.5m lengths required, not metres.

Safe Use 

 

Items can be used with 7 1/4, 5, 3 1/2 gauges - Consideration should be given to the expected load on the item; heavy locos may be unsuitable for 16mm aluminium rail and sleepers must be used in greater number per metre compared to steel rail of comparable dimensions.

 

The responsibility for safe installation and operation is down to the user/installer/owner. It is the operators responsibility to ensure the day-to-day safety of the railway.
