Our 5 inch gauge Jubilee Portable Points are designed to match our V radius portable track, giving a compact 3.88m / 12ft 9in radius turnout for garden and portable miniature railways.
Built as a single portable unit, each point weighs approximately 18kg and can be handled by one person. The points use our proven Jubilee box steel rail system with solid recycled plastic sleepers and laser cut steel components.

5 Inch Gauge Jubilee Portable Points
These points have been designed specifically to complement our 5 inch gauge V radius Jubilee track, allowing a complete portable railway to be constructed using the same compact 3.88m / 12ft 9in radius throughout.
The tight radius makes them particularly useful for garden railways and other locations where space is limited. Despite the amount of engineering packed into them, each point is built as a single portable unit weighing approximately 18kg, making setup and removal straightforward.
Construction follows the same principles as the rest of our Jubilee range, using 25 x 25 x 2mm hollow box steel rail, laser cut steel components and solid recycled plastic sleepers.

These are deliberately tight radius points and are primarily intended for garden railways, private railways and other confined layouts. As with our V radius curves, we would not recommend this radius for long wheelbase locomotives or rolling stock, or for intensive commercial passenger carrying use.
The points connect directly into the MRW Jubilee portable track system using the same simple joining arrangement used throughout the range.
A fully trailable MRW point lever is also available. The lever is designed to hold the blades in the selected direction while allowing a train to trail through from the opposite road.
