Slightly unusual bit of machining completed today.
The County Arts Bowls Club asked for some new brackets to replace the rusted and broken ones that hold their road sign. We were only too happy to oblige and machine something up for them specially.
The two main halves of the assembly are machined from Mild Steel with a turned Stainless Steel pin to act as the joint. With a Nylon bush to act as the bearing. Just to be extra sure it's not all going to come apart, as the old one did! Some holes have been drilled through the bolts and pins for R clips to be fitted....not shown in pictures.
Let's hope the County Arts are as pleased with these bits as a we are.
