We are pleased to announce that we will be expanding our range of Narrow Gauge couplings to include locking coupling pins for use in conjunction with our existing range of bars.
Pins are available in either 8 MM diameter or 10 MM diameter with a usable length of 60 or 80MM. A locking R-Clip has been incorporated into the design to ensure the pin stays firmly in the coupling slot during use, reducing the risk of trains becoming detached when they shouldn’t. We recommend that you use our couplings in conjunction with a Safety chain and follow the recommendations set out in the HS2020 guidelines from the Passenger Carrying Miniature Railway Safety Group (PCMRSG), make sure you consult their website yourself, so for the latest version go to:- www.pcmrsg.org
The heads of the pins are designed to be comfortable to hold, but still small enough to fit close up to buffer beams and other couplings. The heads have been CNC- turned in the UK and the parts are assembled onto their shanks and finishing processes all by MRW. We are really proud to be expanding our range of products and producing products right here in the UK.
