*** New Product *** Joining piece to connect 16mm high aluminium rail to MRW standard Jubilee track sections.

Following a request form The Billingham Light Railway we have been developing this joining piece so that a permanent rail can be connected to Jubilee portable track.

The Aluminium rail is clamped into position using the plates on each side and can be carefully aligned to ensure a smooth joint. Consideration has been given to the aluminium rail wearing and hence fine adjustment to the height of the rail can be set with a countersunk bolt hidden under the rail.

This is the prototype design and we are planning to have the steel cut in the next few weeks for the real thing. We will then see how well the design matches up to expectations and plan to be adding this product to our website in due course.
