Description:

The Corby and District Model Railway Society are a strange anomaly being a model club and engineering society rolled into one.

Our 100ft raised mobile track goes out throughout the year to carnivals, fetes, schools and other organisations. we split our takings with the event organisation so its a win win situation and we would normally have return visits once we have been.

We lease our headquarters site from the borough council and have just renewed our lease for a further 25 years. The society has a 5 inch gauge track running round the site and we would normally open to the public throughout the year.

We have just acquired a new attraction a car from a pacer unit 55831 (144008). this will be used for public functions held within the society HQ.
